Aww. This was really sweet overall. I loved the idea of Jen's singing being able to soothe Ronon. So neat, and it totally works. I also liked the comraderie between Ronon and John, and how Ronon focused on Jen so he wouldn't have to deal with what happened to Tyre. That was a very interesting insight.

Thank you! I was really hoping I picked up on the right "tone" between the various characters. I love writing Shep/Ronon friendship, too. Nothing like two big, tough guys that tend to be a little emotionally stunted until you find the right release valve!

I loved this, all the characters played out realistically and I did get to go 'aww' over her singing to Ronon.

I'm a fan of "aww" moments myself. Go figure. ;) Next chapter will up the ante intensity-wise, but still have a fair bit of aww moments, though.

Thanks!!! I just kept seeing that moment in Broken Ties when Jennifer comes in and wipes Ronon's forehead with a cloth and he just looks at her and I was off. :) Glad you enjoyed it! Chapter 2 is up and ready to go!
