12. Distraction Therapy, Part Two [Permavideo; Filtered from Mechakara and Neal]
[Linkara. Couch. Video. Per usual. His face is still pretty bruised up, but they marks are starting to fade. He's also wearing that big, fake, sarcastic grin that should be familiar to a lot of you by now. Unfortunately, nothing hides the exhaustion.]
So. The nightmares got worse. Again. I have no idea what the Post Office is thinking, but whatever it is, it's sure not helping.
Anyway, as several all-night fundraisers have taught me, it's better to be sleep-deprived together than alone. Those of you who have been here long enough know what that means: movie night.
Now, I wanted to start showing you Star Trek movies, but I've had too many requests for this one to ignore it. Also, I think I owe a few of you an explanation for archaeology professor jokes, so we're making this a George Lucas double feature. That's right: Star Wars and Indiana Jones.
I'll have the screen set up tonight in the ballroom at the Blackstone - same place as last time. You all are in charge of bringing refreshments. Don't forget the popcorn.

If you're still wondering about these [He points to the bruises on his face] and don't already know: yes, I did try to take on Mechakara, yes, he beat me into the ground, and yes, it was a stupid idea. Thankfully, someone [and he's not naming names, unless that certain someone would like to come forward] pulled my ass out of the fire and did a good bit of damage to him. He's going to need time to repair himself, if he even can. In the meantime...well, tonight I'm all for a movie. Tomorrow, if you're in, we talk strategy.

I don't know exactly how magic works on all of your worlds, but is there any way to get rid of the nightmares? A spell or a potion or something? I know drug stores have pills to help you sleep, but I don't think they get rid of dreams.
