There's new NCIS tonight? (Well, whenever it appears on a DL site, probably sometime tomorrow for me) Huh. Gee, and I've really been enjoying the S3 reruns. Seems almost a shame to go back to S7.

Global warming is a misnomer. During the last glacial maximum the global temperature was only a few degrees lower than it is now, but parts of the earth were much colder while others were much hotter, even during a glacial maximum.

Sooo...even during 'global warming' some places are likely to get colder, wetter, stormier etc, it is a change in systems resulting in a worldwide rise in the average temperature, but within that some places will be colder.

Having rambled about that I really hope the weather passes for you!

Ohhh, an educational tidbit. Thanks. I've always thought the whole "global warming panic" was essentially just that - panic.

I am glad you didn't mind the titbit! I'm not sure where I stand on "global warming". There is a lot of misinformation out there and a lot of misintepretation of the information that there is. I believe the expression is "Lies, damn lies and statistics ( ... )
