If the Big Green Vegetable Dude was taking a walk, would you think the area around his head would be a no-fly zone? In case of hay fever?

We wouldn't want him sneezing planes from the sky, right?

(Sry, I'm afflicted with ITS (Inane Thought Syndrome).)

Good on ya! How long did it take to put together this alpha draft?

Oh, and I like the alpha bit. You've got me rethinking the whole beta thing.

Alpha sounds better. Tougher. Like a wolf ready to assert dominance!

Well, I started it a while back before the baby was here, but I got stuck at the 30% mark. After the baby was born it just took off again. It hasn't even been two months since then, and I'm done. So probably 3 months total of actual work would be my guess.

Well, I'm just using techspeak really. the Aplha version is the really buggy first version of a game that shouldn't even have outside testers. Once the game is more stable, in "Beta" then you bring in outside beta testers to find as many bugs as they can. Beta is usually pretty buggy, too, see.

Then after you're satisfied that most of the bugs are found, you release the game to the public.
