[It's not uncommon to see one or more of Erika's Pokemon tending to the plants in the greenhouse. Every once and a while though, one or more will find their task a little bit easier with human hands. This was one of those occasions. Vileplume is currently humming to herself, watering plants and clipping at overgrowth. More of the Gym Leader's ( Read more... )

[The Gym Leader herself was often hiding in the greenhouse as well. She happened to be doing so just at that moment, though she was more wandering than she was hiding. There was a small clipboard in her hands, and she was headed in the direction of where the majority of the berry plants were kept. She paused near Vileplume as she walked past, watching the pokemon for a moment. It was still a little surprising to see her that way!]

[It wasn't long before Vileplume noticed the presence behind her. Without turning around, she greeted her trainer. Although she didn't look at her, she had a smile on her face.]

Madam.

[Erika smiled as well, and it was notable in her voice.]

Good afternoon, Vileplume.

[Now she does turn, face serene and full of adoration. It was always nice to have these moments alone with Erika.]

There was something in the air. I felt like stretching my limbs, so to speak.

[Hope she doesn't mind a pixie nesting in her hair. She happens to like this song, so she's going to stay and listen for a while.]

[Vileplume hums for a bit longer before looking up, continuing her watering.]

Hello there, little one. I must say, I'm surprised to see you here.

[She's resting her chin in her little hands and kicking her feet back and forth. But oh hello she'll peer down at you.]

Really? Hehe~

[She smiles.]

Yes. I believe my madam Erika would be over the moon were she to catch a glimpse of you, Miss Celebi.

Normally, Vinnie was fond of hanging out in the greenhouse simply to surround himself in the comfort of a biome that promoted lovely, leafy growth. This time, he came in with a bit of a gloomy air - which wasn't completely unusual, ever since he was released from the hospital - but it lifted with a slight look of surprise upon seeing Vileplume. It wasn't often that he saw Vileplume in a human form, if ever.

She was... really pretty.

It'd be rude to pretend he didn't see her, right? He muttered a small, "Hey," in her direction, sounding like he had a weight on his chest.

Oh, it was him! She dipped her head slowly in response, giving him a modest smile. Poor thing. He had really been through a lot, hadn't he?

"Good afternoon."

She gestured to the plants she was tending to.

"Care to give me a hand?"

Vinnie blinked for a second, as though expecting her to be talking to someone else, say, with loads more social and emotional competency and standing directly behind him. But. There was no one there.

Well. It wasn't as though he could turn her down - he had nothing better to do other than brood and nap. "Uh... sure. Whadya need help with?"

"Nothing in particular. I'm just passing the time," She responded, moving aside so there was room enough for him to stand next to her.

"The company would be help enough, I believe."
