A lot of it was depicted in scrolls and tablets left in the ruins on Angel Island. My home. Some of it was shown to me by an ancestor's spirit when the God was in danger of once again destroying the world. And then, a member of the Nocturne clan was able to come back through using their advanced technology... but only briefly. She told me the rest.

Well, I think Shade thought the technology would let her stay permanently, and allow for others of her tribe to follow. I was looking forward to meeting more of her family and friends.. but... Y'know. What's done is done, right?
