Oh, I like all the layers in this. Many levels of contrast and compare. Very, very clever.

And I especially like: "the fangs seemed less important, somehow, to this virgin boy." Hee.

I liked writing all the layers. A pretty focused premise, of course, and structured, so the details can fall into place.
