I am seeking personal opinions from ppl who currently have or used to have a Mirena IUD as I am considering getting one next month.

Pass the word along, please, b/c I really want actual experiences told by the actual ppl who have had them.

I have never used one before. I am currently taking a health class offered at my university and we went over this a couple of weeks ago. She said the people she knew that used UIDs had heavier periods. This is what I found on a website to back that up, but it says that with Mirena that the heavy bleeding is much less common when using mirena
