Here I am again, smack in the middle of the weekend without my boys.  Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not sitting around doing nothing the entire time they're gone.  I do have friends and people that I see and things I like to do.  But always, in every quiet moment, or in any movie theater, or restaurant, or just laying in my bed at night and ( Read more... )

Don't get me wrong, there are still a lawt of hurdles to jump, and this is by far the most difficult thing I've had to do in my life thus far. And it could potentially get even harder as my things become finalized, but as much as I can, I try to look on the bright side, and at the children's happiness.

Oh man, you guys are so hardcore awesome. Aidian and Ethan are SUPER lucky to have you guys as parents! Annnnnd I just had a crazy realization that you aren't my neighbor. But you could be. How weird is this? It JUST occurred to me that you and TOP decided to get divorced at the EXACT same time as our neighbors across the street. You know, the neighbors with the two kids named Aidan and Ethan? CRAZY.

THAT. Is fucking weird, dude. With the exception of Aiden being spelled differently, that is ca-razy. How long were your neighbors married?

And really, I don't know how they spell it- so maybe they spell it the same?! Weeeeird! I don't know how long they were married...we only hung out once, then I was SUPER DUPER SICK with the whole C. Diff thing, then when we went over to invite them over for dinner, they were like, "Oh, sorry we kinda fell off the face of the earth...we're getting divorced. My wife already moved out." Ooookay!

I am so proud of you, and TOP for all you do for the boys. Ethan made me tear up with happiness. You surely have taught them to speak their minds.

In my selfish state...is it really necessary to write such an entry that makes me blubber like a baby?
Well played, friend.
