 I'm just now fully grasping the hilarity of The Office.  Yeah, it took me awhile, and quite a few attempts, but oh man.  So good.

I liked the first few seasons. I catch occasional episodes of newer ones online and haven't been very amused the last few times.

It's an uncomfortable slow-burn. I wince a lot watching the show.

It's funny because I always think "this show couldn't have any more meetings and parties" and when they invariably have them, they are always hilarious.

That is such a good way to put it, a slow-burn. I also wince a lot but usually laugh within 3 seconds so there's a payoff.

I just watched 'The Convict' - the one where Michael locks everyone in the conference room to teach them what prison feels like. Hilarious shit.

Also, I've noted that my favorite thing about Michael is that he's constantly using different fake accents, because that is something I can totally relate to.

Yes that makes me a dork. But it's still funny.

You should watch the UK original, which is about 14 million times funnier and more intelligent than the American knock-off.

Yeah I've been thinking about that. But first I've gotta get through this American knock off version. I am now hooked. I think I watched 8 episodes last night. Had to force myself to go to bed.
