Inferiority is what you make of it. When you build your perceptions on what people think, you make yourself vulnerable to them. If you can live with that kind of thing hanging over you, I suppose that's your life. I prefer to think I can mold people to my way of thinking on the basis of my own merit.

People are nice, but they have the startling tendency to not matter as much as you think when they tell you how they'd prefer you to conduct yourself.
