Hey, guys. Just like help_haiti last year, I'm offering art commissions to help raise funds to support the multiple disasters occurring in Japan due to the earthquake/tsunami at help_japan.

I made a thread too! I just wish I could donate or something, but I honestly just don't have the means of doing so, that's why I made the thread. And I wasn't aware that Hikaru lost his home D:

I don't know why, but this whole thing is really getting to me, I'm just feeling so empathetic towards all those having to go through that destruction and, idk. I don't have family or whatsoever near there (this is going to sound bad but, thank goodness for that), but it really hurts to see any part of the world having to go through something like that. The whole Haiti disaster also hit me hard too, after watching a small news piece on it, watching numerous bodies just being dumped to one side - in any case, if it's horrifying on screen, I can't imagine the reality for those who are actually there.

Sorry, ranted a bit and on a completely unrelated note, how are you?

Yeah, I saw your post~ I think some of Hikaru's family lived in Sendai 'cause that's where he's from, so their house got crushed by the tsunami. A few members are also in hospital due to minor injuries as well, from what I've read. : (

I'm glad I'm not hearing about anyone getting hurt as well, but it's really heartbreaking to see all the destruction and crying faces on TV. I didn't realise the Haiti death toll was so high until I checked Wikipedia . . . it's so sad.

I'm doing great. : ) First semester of this year just started a few weeks ago over here so I'm just busy with working on my papers while cramming fandom and self-entertainment in my life~

Honestly, it's so hard to believe that it's been over a year since Haiti happened and they're still trying to recover from the disaster. From what I know, not much has been rebuilt, people are still homeless, and I'm not really sure how fast donations and the like are getting to the people there.

Haha, ah trying to balance out things. Totally not working for me, but I try? LOL it's been a while since I've been around on lj to be honest, I think I've lost touch with a lot of people :C

Haiti, Christchurch and now Japan. So many earthquakes it is so heartbreaking. I honestly feel like crying every time I turn on the news...

What you are doing is great Kaylee :) Really hope Japan can get past this dark days and that no more earthquake like this will happen in a long time.

Oh no, stay strong! : ( Japan will get past this. I believe time heals everything, everyone just need to keep working together to rebuild what was lost. ♥

I hope there won't be anymore disasters ever . . .
