Tsunami

So many disasters this past month . . . I hope everyone in Japan are alright, as with the Christchurch recovery and Yunnan victims as well. : ( A warning has also been travelling around for Australia, Hawaii, Philippines, New Zealand and a few other places about the tsunami heading that way. Seriously scared as shit right now. 2012 is coming. D:

Doesn't seem like the tsunami is a threat for us here, but hopefully everywhere else is alright. D: The other countries are much closer to the earthquake zone than down here.

Been watching a variety of news stations a lot, and it's just all so devastating :(. I'm glad that essentially none of the places that had a tsunami warning were really hit with waves that were too strong to deal with, though, at least. BC had waves that were under a metre high coming in; it's really scary how far the effects of the tsunami can be felt, since I usually think of Canada as being super far away from Japan D:

IKR, Auckland is basically isolated from the world by ocean and it still reached us. D: Good thing it was only a marine warning here.
