You're already saying you have too much on your plate and don't know how you're going to handle it all. Why add more grief. I think it would be a great idea, and if you're willing to spend more time here to do it, then I say go ahead. I just know how much shit Al went through writing his thesis, and I know how much shit I'm going through writing a dissertation. They're already letting you double up on a lot of shit. There's no way they would let one document count for both degrees. I'm all about being versatile. Hell, I'm taking clarinet and oboe lessons at the same fucking time. But I'm not pursuing a second Masters in Multiple Woodwinds. I'm also listing a secondary emphasis in music history, but there's no way in hell I'd write a history thesis on top of all this shit just to get a second degree that I may or may not use. I don't know man.
