Agreed. He was such a presence. I love Bobby, but I'd take John over him any day! (Sorry Bobby! Nothin' personal!)

I do hope you enjoy these as much as I did! I love how John's presence can still be so felt throughout the show -- and I love how he is responsible for helping to craft both Sam and Dean into the complicated men/heroes they are today. I often think of John Winchester in the same way I think of Sarah Conner in the Terminator series for this reason.

Yay John! Some of my absolute favourite authors here, and a number of them I haven't read. Thanks for the recs!

And someone really needs to write a John ( senior or junior though I prefer JDM!John ) meets Castiel story *hints pokes nudges*

Oh, man, I am really craving more fic with John meeting Castiel. That would be wonderful. I think I've seen a couple out there in fandom, but there needs to be more. Is that a prompt for me?! I will definitely add it to my list! <3333
