Rebecca called them today. They said that they are still waiting on my employment verification. I do, in fact, work for the company that I told them I work for, so there shouldn't be any problem with that. And I'm not even sure that people would act like assholes, but I think they definitely have the potential to. There has already been some really unpleasant racial tension going on. One of the girls I work with is Jamacian, and she has a problem with two of the other girls dating black guys. Apparently it almost turned into a fist fight one night, and this store has only been open for a month.
I guess the drama quotient worries me.
