Oh well, even if it's not canon, I'm still really grateful that the films give these two a lot of great scenes together. Dan/Emma have a lot of chemistry - ngl, Prisoner of Azkaban kind of encouraged my love for this ship. But Rupert/Emma's chemistry has developed nicely too over the last couple of movies. It's just the Harry/Ginny chemistry I haven't been feeling.

Same here. I'm surprised by how great the H/Hr stuff looks in Deathly Hallows considering the endgame. I appreciate them at least, acknowledging how close the two characters are in the story.

It's pretty awful. Mostly, IMO, because Ginny sucks as a character.

I'm pretty excited, too! I enjoyed the book and the part 1 looks AMAZING.
