This is genius.

I, particularly, agree with Reasons #1, #4, and #6.

Of course, all the reasons I hate Ginny Weasley are the same in regards to my hatred of Nois Lame, which is why this is so hysterical to me. No offense to the person who did the picspam because it's a well-done and well-thought out entry, it's just...those are the two characters I ( Read more... )

I was never a Harry/Hermione shipper but I feel like both of them got together with the wrong people - but compared to Ginny, Ron is winning the lottery 20 times over.

Great links, I'm happy other people aren't totally in love with her. The second one - wow, um, can you say sad. Yeah. LOL!

I shipped H/Hr, but I'm okay with R/Hr in so far as I can, at least, see the build up for it.

Well, I guess for a 16/17-year-old boy, he really IS only going to pay attention to Ginny's looks. It bugs the everliving mess outta me, but I guess in some twisted way, the characterization makes sense. I just wish Harry could have seen something MORE out of Ginny other than her perfection.

I think a lot of people don't like Ginny, but like in the SV fandom, H/G fans get all hot and bothered when people don't absolutely love Ginny.

I like picspams and I can appreciate when they are done well, but putting Nois and Ginny in the same one together about did me in. It's that person's opinion and they are free to like what they do...I just happen to disagree.

lol Not a HP fan, but I had to look, and I'm laughing my ass off. Especially at #8. "Destinated"? Boy, someone spells worse than Hois does. rofl And #9 is fail, stupid, wtf, and full of shit. lmfao CHLOE has had to watch Clark be in love with Lana, not hoebag. And LMFAO at the second cap in 12. THEY'RE GOING TO GET A BEER. HOW IS THAT BEING SUPPORTIVE? Oh, this is bullshit.

Well, now, come on, be fair, we've all had our times of spelling things funny in our entries...:) Or, I know I have.

Yeah, Chloe definitely had to witness more of the Clana love than Nois did, but I guess when you're doing a picspam of Nois, you have to focus on her :)

I don't drink, personally, but I guess some people think going out for a beer is supportive?

I don't think she's a slut, per se, but she definitely seemed to be one of those girls who didn't like to be alone.

The characterization points are what I agree with. I don't like Ginny because I don't think she has much substance and therefore, I can't jump on the H/G train.

I saw the picspam through that community, but decided against commenting b/c I didn't want to be negative to that person. He/She obviously put a lot of thought and effort into it and even though, I disagree with it, I chose to leave it alone. I get way too much backlash as it is for not liking either of those characters, so I chose not to bicker about it.

I find it humorous that most of the examples where she used comic scans of Lois she could have used caps of Chloe.

HA! Well that Lois/Ginny comparison is fitting since I find a lot of similarities with Chloe/Hermione.

I just don't get loving Ginny. I hate other fictional characters, but I can usually see what someone would see in them, even though I completely don't agree, not with Ginny. I barely noticed her until at the last minute she's shoved in my face. She was just a big drip that was always left behind, while his best friend Hermione was fighting right by his side. As my friend, puts it ... Ginny could always wait. She just wasn't that important.

I'm definitely with you, when it comes to the hero of the story and his lady love, I NEED to see the why and it better be a damn good why.

Yeah, I see Chloe/Hermione as the same archetype.

I don't get the Ginny love, either. She's a very thin character to me. Not a lot to her, which I think is partly why I never cared about her.
