I'm going to whine for a minute, here.

See, there is nothing in the house I want to eat. We have bits and pieces of things I want to eat, but nothing that actually fits together. We have noodles but no cream to put on them (we do have butter, but I have eaten so many noodles-with-butter bowls in the past few days that ugh). We have cereal, but ( Read more... )

pointless post is pointless, fail, lulz!, friendthings, i amuse myself

So I guess the accidental, and completely untrue, moral of this story is not that I am ridiculous but that whining on LJ will magically get you what you want in real life.

BEST moral. ♥

Those days when you just can't win... Tomorrow will come soon enough. And the laundry will do itself OUT OF FEAR!!!

Man, I wish my laundry would do that.

I'm weirded out by the fact that you eat noodles with CREAM. Butter is almost as bad. The amount of fat! And cholesterol!

I'd never really subscribed to the stereotype of Californians being health food nuts, but man. Just like, what even.

I'm not sure what relevance this had to the content of your post.

o__O I'm not entirely sure what else you'd eat noodles with. ...okay, vinegar sauce and oil sauces and stuff like that, but. See, cream and cheese is super easy and tastes delicious. :| Other things I have to like. Cook for longer periods of time.

And I'm well aware with the amount of cheese/cream/etc I eat that I'll probably have a heart attack next year, but it will be so worth it. Delicioussss.

That was a bit of hyperbole.

Olive oil + parmesan is my standard when I'm too lazy to buy sauce out of a jar. Is delicious, and has less fats, and the fats it has are the good sort of fats (monounsaturated fats). Plus, being plant based, it does not contain cholesterol.
