Huh, it's almost July. How did this even happen. Well, anyway, I was in Sweden two weeks ago and I have pictures and stories to share (not very good ones, though).
(And I know this is stupid, but I actually smiled like crazy when I saw your comment because it's... it's you. And I'm like "Eek, she commented on my journal. I am not worthy of this!" Umm. Yes.)
Okay, at first I was just refraining from word-vomiting on your journal, but now I'm just going to blabber on, okay?
First of all: I've always wanted to travel through Sweden. And Finland and Norway and everywhere, but yeah. I tried to learn Finnish at one point, but I kind of failed at it miserably, so... maybe some day. Anyway -- your photos are wonderful, and the sunsets are exquisite, and I'm not even a huge fan of ice cream, but that ice cream? It's fantastical looking. I just want to jump into the photo and devour it immediately.
Also: I am one of those people, too, who gets super-excited to see something from her own country when she's in other countries. Hell, I like it when I'm in another state and I see something from my state, which is probably way worse.
Alsoalso: after you prompted me to use my Arcade Fire icon in my last comment, you have subsequently prompted me to put them on repeat in iTunes.
Oh, feel free to blabber. I'm a big fan of blabbering.
You tried to learn Finnish? That's awesometastic. (Now I kind of feel like saying random things in Finnish, but I'll try not to.) And hey, let me know if you ever end up in Finland, or some other Nordic country. Just so I can be horribly fangirly. And bring you Skittle Bulbs. Also, thanks for the compliment about my photos. I am blushing, just so you know.
Haha, that's lovely. And I sometimes get all squee-y when I go to another city and someone says the name of my town. Mostly because nobody ever knows my town even exists, so it's like "Oh my gosh, you know my town, let's be friends forever."
