[rl] I have to know the truth, no matter how painful it might be.

Even thought it had already been a while since Nero had talked with Vergil, the young man had found himself oddly worried about the whole thing. If this guy was really Dante's brother... He shook his head. Now wasn't the time to be thinking...no, it was, but the problem lay in the fact that he didn't know what  to think first. The whole situation ( Read more... )

Nero left Vergil so confused -- so out of touch with himself. Nero had what's important to him. Nero had his sword, Yamato... he didn't get why. Only he could unlock that sword's true potential. To top that, Nero had heard HIS saying... and Yamato came to him when he needed it. He never expected anything like this. Dante had given the sword to Nero, knowing that it would take one person to use that sword fully... that one person was dead. Why would Dante give that sword away? Why change his mind about keeping it?

Vergil found it highly necessary to meet this Nero in person. He brought a Katana along, just incase things got messy. And, strangely enough, not just because of the fact this kid had his sword. There was a possibility surrounding the fact Nero was able to resurrect his sword that was deeply disturbing him. He kept telling himself it couldn't possibly be true -- he'd be able to sense it if he was close enough. Nero's concepti--

Vergil snapped out of it he couldn't bear to think it -- it's not possible. He was just being ( ... )

Nero's gaze flickered to the remnants of the 'Savior' statue that he had crushed, memories of the incident still fresh in his mind. He was never going to forgive the Order for what they had done. Even in death. The only one that he even had a shred of empathy for was Credo, and even that wasn't immediate. Sanctus, Agnus, he didn't care about those two idiots...especially when they endangered Kyrie's life ( ... )

[ooc: Christ, this took CENTURIES DX. It's hard, because I don't want him to reveal anything yet but I want it, so, like, Nero wants to find out more no matter how crazy Vergil goes-- who wouldn't? All I know is that Vergil's gonna go apeshit xD. IT DOESN'T HELP THAT HE'S ACTUALLY DEAD IN THE GAMES D:! DFghjkljhgf I talk too much.]

Vergil noticed he'd been spotted and turned, fully in the direction of Nero. Something else caught his eyes now, though. Not the white hair... not the obvious resemblance the boy held to him - the twins - which was clear without giving that too much attention. The right arm. His glance, now turning into a dark, deep stare. It was glowing blue -- his colour. It was demonic in appearence - a claw - was Yamato the source to this glow - that power? He imagined so -- he could sense its presence. He noticed that Nero, too, was armed -- no Yamato in sight. Yes, Vergil had every intention to try a new approach to things: talking, but though he tried to stay faithful to his characteristics of being "calm and ( ... )

The guy was definitely looking ready to snap, and to be honest, Nero couldn't blame him for that. It really was odd to be seeing a dead man walking supposedly, even though he had never actually met this man before in his life- only heard of him from Dante while he was trying to get to the bottom of everything and save Kyrie. But the resemblance to the other man...it was almost eerie. If Dante slicked back his hair, then he'd look exactly like Vergil.

The younger man didn't say anything at first, trying to make sure that the swirling maelstrom of feelings wasn't going to break, and it was proving to be a bit harder than he originally thought. "They were trying to refashion the world in their own image using Sparda's power..." He frowned, looking away while his eyebrows knit in frustration at the memories. If it weren't for Dante being there, he and Kyrie would've easily died...and not just this place, but the entire world would be destroyed in an effort to create 'utopia' through demonic power. He snorted slightly. Bunch of morons.
