[ action ] something about 'ash petting his wooper' makes me laugh... /tragicly immaturesavethefarronJune 28 2010, 06:01:04 UTC
[OF COURSE HE'S DROPPING IN, KAY. He heard about the mishap, so the first thing he does upon walking in is survey the damage. With a half-grin and a nod as a greeting to Ash, Snow heads over to the front desk.]
Hey, you alright? I mean... [A gesture at the plugged wall.]
[So he'll be heading inside soon, looking around for Kairi and listening for the potential sound of a sobbing Cubone. Hopefully it quieted by now, but if not... he feels bad for poor Kairi.]
[ There's no crying to be heard here. Kairi sits at a couch with Cubone in front of her. The two seem to be getting along quite well. Kairi is speaking to the Cubone, patting her skullmet gently. She doesn't even notice Snow's approach. ]
[When Cubone notices Snow (before Kairi), she lifts her bone (a force of habit--Franziska had taught her to thwap Snow's shins on sight), but then seems distracted at the thought of her former owner. She considers sobbing again, but then turns to the loving attention of Kairi to shun Snow.
Snow'll be chuckling, then casually letting Machop out to stretch. Rocky, however, was going to stay in his PokeBall until they were outside again. No need to break the Center again (see: Kay's Gyarados incident).
[It's well into the evening when Lightning returns to the PokéCenter. She'd gone around slowly, but efficiently. She at least feels marginally better now, what with the vague sense of familiarity. No, she's not entirely happy -- fortunately, though, she's not entirely unhappy either.
Stepping into the building, she looks for signs of Snow.]
[He's... actually asleep draped over one of the couches. Even if Light would've let sleeping Snows lie, though, Snow had let Machop out before he crashed, and the pokemon (upon spotting Lightning) decided to be helpful and give Snow a casual shove.
The hero jerked awake and up on an elbow, his other palm pressing and rubbing against his eye in a just-woke-up sort of fashion, as he establishes what's going on.
Then he notices who's back. Sounding impressively awake:]
[Impressively awake indeed. She has to wonder if the couches are even comfortable to begin with, though Snow should be able to sleep about anywhere after their journey. No matter.
And he said "sis" again. Considering how that's . . . very true by this point, if only a little premature, all she does is shoot him a look.]

I'm fine! Ash helped me out, and now the center has a nice Gyarados-shaped patch to add to the theme! [ when in doubt, optimism optimism optimism. ]

Finally approaching their couch:]
Heeey. Glad to see you two are getting along.

She wasn't the best sport about how I call her my sister, but somehow I dodged that fist too.

I'm roughly halfway between Cherrygrove and Violet. Has something happened?

To answer your question, I don't know yet. That's what I'm trying to figure out.
