Hey, everyone. Franziska and I made it to Cherrygrove this morning, and it's... not a heck of a lot bigger than the place we started--New Bark, or something? Yeah. Three days from New Bark... Our speed, at least.

There's a store and a place to sleep, but not too much else.

I don't understand how your Machop has gained so much experience, considering that it was my Cubone and I that did all the work.

[The Cubone stares at Machop in slight envy, watching it flex its muscles.]

[Machop doesn't have a problem with Cubone anymore, having trained with him... So he'll be pausing in his martial arts, wandering up, and flexing at Cubone once. 'Machop. Chop?' Then he'll be trying to lift Cubone's arm to cause the other pokemon to flex as well. Do as Machop does, Cubone. You look much manlier.]

I suppose it looked happy battling with us, at least.

[Cubone twitched as her hands tightened around her bone. How dare Machop invade her space. And she was female! Cubone threw her bone at Machop's head in anger with a firm -whack-.]

[Franziska notices this, but doesn't appear fussed. She smirks, waggling her finger in Cubone's direction.]

[Machop is taken aback, stepping back a couple of steps and rubbing his head. He was just trying to be nice! But he's not gonna take this crap. With fists clenched, he stomps one foot forward a la typical pokemon-challenging-foe stances go. 'MaCHOP!']

[Snow really doesn't think they'll appreciate fighting in the Pokemon Center, so he quick gets up and puts a hand on Machop's shoulder.]

Hey, c'mon now. I'm sure this is all just one big misunderstanding.
