Piglets? Yeah, probably. I'd just need to get some reference pictures first, maybe sketch some to get the hang of the anatomy. But that's not too hard.

I could help! Back home, I have a piglet. [he is an amazing artist, Steve, you are gonna want those references] They're really cute, right? It'd make these things a little less scary!

You really had a piglet? [He's got to chuckle some at that.] Sounds neat. Never really saw pets like that, back home. But I guess I did live in the city.

They're not bad, though. Wouldn't say cute, myself, but definitely not scary.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I've always loved drawing, but I've never given much thought into pumpkin carving. At least, until they started showing up around here.

Whoa, those look good. Are you sure this is one of your first times carving pumpkins?

[Oh gosh, thank goodness.

He grins, sheepishly rubbing the back of his head.]

Yeah, I'm sure. But I've done other carving techniques before. Before the war back home, I was in an art school. We had to do all sorts of different things.

Yeah, I guess it does.

[He pauses, then nods.] Yeah, there was. All the major powers in the world were involved. Apparently it gets named World War 2, but I only found that out after coming here. That was after my time.

Probably. Can't say I've drawn a raccoon before, but they can't be that hard, right?
