[o28] quick question!

Mar 08, 2012 23:03

Would there be people living/having lived in London on my f-list? Native Brits would be just as precious, I reckon :) I'm asking because I might prove myself in need of a great deal of historical/local knowledge related to London buildings and other places during WWII. So - you know - just asking; for the translation I'm about to start.

work: was ist das scheisse?

I'm living just outside London at the moment, but I probably won't be too much help? But ask away, if you need to, I'll try to be useful!

Girl. How did you get there? *g* Should I read your journal more often?

Haha, maybe! My company sent me for six months, I've got two left, so I'm just trying to make the most of being here!

Wow! I wish something similar would happen to me! I'm only getting offers to go abroad from other people than those currently employing me :)

More than useful - I might start pestering you if I get the contract.

For the test pages it has mostly been street names and various defence bodies set up by the British Army during WWII - figured them out after some steady research. But I'll count on you as soon as I trip :D

Wow! Turns out to be just my lucky day, then - happy 9th March to me *g*!

Thank you so much - I'll make a small list of stuff I can't really put my finger on and contact you.

Quite apt. The action seems to be happening in WWII Central London :)

Hullo. I live in SW13, work in the City, and have meandered over most of Central London at some point. Native Brit, yadda, yadda, yadda.

Yay! With so much help I doubt I could fail! Now it's just a matter of artistry and craft to get the contract signed, and everything will be just alright :)
