ITV rejected Impossible's offer of a budget Primeval

Sounds to me like ITV don't want it no matter what. It also sounds to me like Impossible Pictures aren't gonna give up just yet.

it sounds like ITV have already made their minds up and sod what the fans think. There's no harm in sending the dinosaurs anyway, but maybe targetting other channels, such as Sci-fi, might be a more hopeful option? If they were already willing to be part of the deal sharing the cost and rights, maybe they'd be willing to fund it entirely if they know how much the fans want it.

I think you're right. What could we do to target the Sci-Fi channel? The dinosaurs too?

I don't see why not. Have you got the relevant address for sci-fi? I remember seeing all the e-mail addresses in an earlier post, but not sure about the real-mail address.

I think, if people were to target other channels like Sci Fi, a more polite approach might be best?

The dinosaur idea to ITV is like a protest - whereas in my opinion, showing fans' support for the show and for the channel would be the better way to go about with the other channels, because unlike ITV they haven't done anything to upset us. Soo, letters asking for them to consider Primeval, or whatever? I'm rubbish at this sort of stuff, but that was my first thought.

Just my opinions. :D

God, no! A US adaptation of Primeval would be horrible because they *never* work. No 'remake' ever does. I'm so angry with the ITV for throwing in this cash cow to pay for their cheap, low-budget post-wastershed shows.

I does seem like the ITV have made up their minds, which I still think is VERY two-faced of them since the swore Primeval wouldn't be axed in the first place. I say we should try protesting to other channels who might be able to pick it up; the Sci-Fi channel might.

Hee! =D Thanks. Some people in my town did some and they look awesome. One of my mates wanted to paper mache a massive dinosaur and I was like 'err...how would we post that to them?'. Lol!
