Wikipedia has been extremely disingenuous, unfair and undemocratic in locking its page on Pluto while portraying only the IAU side of this very much ongoing debate. There is a reason Pluto was not discussed at the 2009 IAU General Assembly. Here is what people don't know. A group of planetary scientists who opposed the demotion of Pluto asked the IAU leadership prior to the General Assembly to re-open the planet debate discussion. The IAU leadership adamantly refused. As a result, this large group of planetary scientists boycotted the General Assembly. The IAU's continual shutting off of all debate illustrates an underlying insecurity about the 2006 decision. If one is so sure of one's position, why disallow all discussion? It is well known that both the process and outcome of the 2006 IAU planet definition are highly flawed. If the refusal to revisit the issue continues, a new group of planetary scientists may very well arise to address this issue on their own
