Last Time: The twins went off to college, Eli lagged behind in his growing up, finally reaching teenager and then a fire killed off everyone except him so I quit and restarted from when he was a kid. I quickly aged him up and sent him off to college to join his brothers at college, where we'll start this update. You can read it
here.
I decided to act as though this were the beginning of the legacy, with the boys working hard to build and furnish their house; I'm hoping having this challenge will help me be able to stick through the entire college experience, since Sophia before dropped out when she was only a sophomore, I believe.
Anyway, this is their little shack - the guys will have to fight it out for the only bathroom, computer, and two beds - this should be interesting.
Rather than getting started on their studies, the twins decided to spend their first few hours as college students by playing Punch You Punch Me and trying to figure out who was going to whimp out first.
Matt: Well, since we both kept going until our arms became numb, which was at the same time, who wins?
Luke: Um, I'm not sure.
Matt: Let's have a rematch to figre it out!
Luke: Yeah, sounds like fun!
Boys. *rolls eyes*
As the oldest, and the best dressed (out of the four, at least), Erick was assigned to digging duty so that we could earn enough money to buy some decent clothes.
Erick: And why was I stuck with this crappy job?
Because I said so.
Erick: Good reason.
Luckily Erick did a good job of digging up useless junk that was actually worth quite a bit and he was promptly sent to the University clothing store to purchase some better clothes for his brothers.
Little Cashier: Why are you wearing a shirt that's unbuttoned half down your chest?
Erick: The chicks dig it.
*snorts*
Little Cashier: Really? I'm going to go out and buy a shirt just like that! Thanks older college sir!
Oh no, Erick has started a cult following by the creepy little cashier boy who looks younger than college and should probably be in school right now.
Meanwhile, back at home, Matt and Luke are back at it, only this time they're gossiping about their mother, the littler buggers.
Matt: Hey, did you hear about Mom?
Luke: No, what?
Matt: I heard some old alumni talking about her - apparently she used to be a real party animal, always drunk!
Luke: Really? That's hilarious! *snickers*
Eli: Hmm, not bad for a rugged college dude look.
Erick: Dudes, you are going to be so dead if Dad hears you gossiping about Mom.
Matt: Once she was so drunk that she ended up sleeping in some random dude's bed, after she passed out on the floor!
Eli: Oh, I think I'm going to throw up - creepy images of a drunken mother are searing my retinas!
Erick: *watches calmly*
It's now Eli's turn to dig for gold while Erick gets to use the sole computer in their little shack.
Here are the portraits of the boys now that they've gotten a bit of a makeover for the more fashionably-challenged of the four (stupid Maxis clothes).
Here's Erick, my original favorite - he's still adorable, but there's just something about his brother...
Here's Matt, who looks just as adorable but is just so boring most of the time that his chances of being heir aren't very good.
Here's Luke. When he was first born, he was quite unusual looking, but he's managed to grow into his looks slightly - but those darn eyes just ruin any chance he might have to become heir, because I really want different eyes after last generation all had the same eyes.
And here's little Eli, my favorite! He looks just as adorable as his oldest brother, but he's also so much fun to watch, and there's just something about him that makes me love him even more!
And Eli is back to digging to find some more money - they just never have enough to buy stuff for skilling that they need for their respective majors.
Eli: You know, this work is no where near being fit for a dictator in the making. This should be forced upon my small-minded brothers who spend most of their time gossiping about our teenage mother and punching each other until they have temporary tattoos of bruises.
Eli: After all, my hands are precious - I need to reserve them soley for the purpose of signing my signature on extremely important documents!
Yep, like I haven't heard that excuse before.
Actually, I haven't heard that before...
Despite all his complaining and excuses, Eli managed to dig up a tidy bundle of junk to be sold, enough to add two more beds (one is cut out of the picture) in the bedroom, which is now enclosed, plus some other objects needed to help the boys skill away.
While Eli was trying to sleep after working his little bum off studying, this mascot decided that, despite the fact that the boys don't live in a campus, they needed a little bit of school spirit, and he did a cheer in front of the sleeping Eli for about an hour.
Llama Mascot: Come on, wake up! This is great stuff you're msising! How many mascots do you know who can stick their hands through the ears of their mascot head?
Not many, Mr. Llama Mascot, that's for sure.
Despite the annoying lullaby the night before, Eli managed to wake up refreshed enough to snag this girl, Christy Owens, I believe.
Eli: Wow, has anyone ever told you that you have the perfect face to be seen on the arm of a world dictator?
Christy: Really?! No, no one's ever complimented me like that before!
A match made in dictator heaven. *rolls eyes*
Eli: Your eyes are so beautiful, like endless pools of sparkling water, which I will provide for you each day with my immense fortune.
Immense fortune? Sure, Christy, just ignore the little shack behind him...
Eli: Yes, you are the perfect bride for my insanely pumped up ego.
Christy: Wow! *slightly faints*
Christy: Oh, wow, has it gotten really hot in here?
Wow, Eli sure is a charmer...
WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON? WHO IS THAT?
Erick and Matt, why are you fighting? When did you get such a crappy relationship?
Eli: Hmm, maybe I should go over and comfort my girlfriend.
Um, Eli, maybe you should walk around the fight instead of through it.
Eli: Did something just bite my leg?
*smacks head* And you're the smart one!
Point to Erick!
Matt: Why the heck did he beat me? He spent all his teenager years making out with girls!
While you were quickly rushed through your own years, playing with your younger brother and the family dog along the way - really doesn't make sense why you lost, huh?
Eli finally makes it to his girlfriend so that he can comfort her, but this cheerleader decides that she wants to be the perfect third wheel by cheering them on the whole way.
Eli: When I see you, I hear the thundering harmony of thousands of personally-hired angels singing hymns about your beauty.
Christy: *blushes and pretends to be shy*
How are you falling for these cheesy lines?!
Cheerleader: Go, Eli, he owns angels, go Christy, she's airheaded!
Remind me to never hire you to boost my self esteem with a personal cheer...
AGAIN?!
Luke: Oh no oh no oh no oh no!
Llama Mascot: Use a fist! Slam him right in the nose! Get him where it hurts!
*shakes head* Boys.
Point for Matt this time!
Matt: 1 | Erick: 1
And that was just the first semester! Despite all the fighting, Erick did manage to get enough studying in to earn an A+.
The other boys also did just as well - tons of money poured in thanks to all that smartness!
Here's the house after I spent all that money (ignore Erick who is currently complaining about nothing)
Matt used the pimped-up house as an oppurtunity to invite over his own lady friend, Lauren Gothstram or something.
Lauren: OMG, he's touching me, I think I'm going to hypervenilate!
Matt: Ticke, tickle, tickle!
*shakes head and smirks*
Matt: Your eyes are so pretty...
Eloquently put, Matt.
Erick: Grr, why is my little brother getting some while I'm stuck wearing this shirt and getting no girls and a cold chest? I'll kill his little skinny butt to make him pay.
You really need to get a girl to help that anger.
SERIOUSLY? Now it's you and Eli fighting?! Where did all this rage come from?!
Erick: Two of my little brothers have girls who love them and I have nothing! *sob!*
Eli: I hate boys who cry - I'm going to hit you now.
I really want some girls next generation - I can't stand all these male hormones stuck in the same tiny shack.
Luckily, the anger fizzled out by the next day, and Eli invited over Christy. Aren't they such a cute couple?!
And he was feeling pretty lucky, so he asked her to move in. And I guess those crazy, cheesy lines worked, cuz she came!
Wow. Way to bring in enough money to help out.
But luckily that was enough to add a bedroom for the happy couple!
Matt hoped that the luck would continue for him, and he invited over Lauren.
He asked her to move in, and she agreed!
And she brought in just as much as the generous Christy. *sighs*
Here's Lauren after her makeover (Christy didn't get a makeover because I already gave her one when she was a roommate in one of my Sim's dorms).
Score for Matt (in the far left, if you can see his disembodied head)! He dug up a treasure chest! And we were able to add on another room for the new happy couple.
Luke decided that it was high time he should find a girl of his own, and he found this girl, whose name is Mallory Hsu I think.
Luke: Um, you're pretty?
Mallory: OMG, you are so sweet! And sexy...
Wow, those college girls are just getting dumber and dumber...
And the end of freshman year has arrived, and the boys continue their win streak in the academic department. A+ for Erick!
See what I mean? More win for the Dasani boys!
But the celebration didn't last - now Eli is mad at Matt. Why is the only one no one is mad at is Luke?!
Eli: Grr, I hate him and his spiky hair, trying to steal the style that I perfected long before him!
Um, I hate to break it to you, but he was born before you, plus you didn't get that hairstyle until you reached college...
Eli: *Continues to rage*
Matt: Hmm, I wonder what Lauren is doing right now....
With all that rage, we leave the Dasani clan. Next update (yes, I actually know what's going to happen because I finally played ahead!): more rage, more school, and some serious disasters with Matt's girlfriend...
I doubt that the next update is going to come out as quickly as this one (I was on a playing streak, then an editing streak, and finally a writing-an-update streak), but I hope to have it soon!
