Chalk

Someone over on fanrush had the idea of sending boxes of chalk. It sort of worked for the Jerico people who sent a half a ton of nuts and got an extra seven episodes. Maybe stick pictures of the characters making puppy dog faces on the boxes.

There's also been suggestions of cut out numbers and flash cards, because of the flatness thing.

I thought chalk was a great idea, until someone in chat mentioned something: white powder in the mail?

Then again, Jericho is the standard so we have to outdo them :)

I think if you keep the chalk in the boxes it'll hold up. You can get boxes of colored chalk I guess.

I was thinking something similar about the chalk and the white powder in the mail...

But, I think I'm going to buy 6 boxes of colored chalk and send them together - one for each episode they have stolen from us. I like the idea anyway.

Hmm. Not sure chalk would survive the Indian Postal Service but the numbers sound like a good idea. *adds craft paper to shopping list*

I'm still working on my letter. I think the real challenge is to get a huge amount of fans to send actual letters/numb3rs. A lot of people don't know about the decision yet. We need to find a way to reach the fans who don't use the internet very often. Message boards maybe?

Also, we need to do something really big, make sure they can't just ignore our letters. You know, make sure they trip over all the stuff we will send them. Does that make any sense?

Chalk is not going to instantly connect to the math crime show, which is how the network sees Numb3rs. Flash cards are flat, don't cost extra to mail in a card or letter, and are obviously math related.
