Okay guys, I've been thinking a lot about this episode ever since it aired yesterday, and honestly I really like the fact that it's still keeping me guessing (while driving me crazy at the same time). I've read quite a few of reviews from my flist, some I agree with, some I didn't. That's okay though, I get it. It's not gonna change what I thought ( Read more... )

I'm with you, I expected awkward and uncomfortable and that's what I got. They couldn't make the reunion epic and huggy. I loved it!

Ah! It's nice to hear people agree on some things I had to say :D

Yep. Time changes everything. It was different, and now that I've seen it once, and it's sunk in, I'm looking forward to seeing it again soon, which I usually don't do right away.

I'm pretty much on board with what you said and the reunion though different from the promo served a purpose so I guess that's why they changed it. We surely are for surprises and the Cambels are bad news except maybe for that hot blond cousin..

Yeah, I remember seeing a scene with Dean punching Sam. Must have been that whole hallucinating thing. Actually, I'm kinda glad they pulled that one. I think I've had my fill of brotherly abuse, thanks.

Haha, honestly I didn't pay too much attention to the guy. I sorta wanted them to go away, I feel like Sam being back all this time was hard enough on Dean - it was all too much for him at once.

Same here I'm totally on board for the new season. I was definitely not disappointed with this episode. Like you said there was a lot of unanswered questions in this ep, which left me thinking and wanting to see more! So I'm looking forward to seeing how the story will unfold.

And yes something is off with Sam, but like you said its most likely due to that fact that he's been to hell and back, so just like Dean in season 4 he's broken up inside. Hopefully with the episodes to come he'll warm up to Dean again and be his usual self.

Totallly. The hour went by WAY too fast. Once I saw how close it was to being over, I was like, crap, a lot of this stuff isn't going to get answered.

I dunno. Dean seemed a lot more hurt back in Season 4. I'd think of Sam as numb. But yes, either way, I hope he warms up soon! I want Sammy back ♥!

lol yeah before I knew it the episode was already over! I was like, come on I want answers don't leave me like that!!

You're right Dean seemed a lot more hurt than Sam, but he didn't grow distant or numb like his brother. I don't know, I think Sam could possibly be acting that way to push his brother away, like he's holding back so Dean won't give up the normal life he was with Ben and Lisa. But yeah I definitely want the old Sammy back and see him warm up to Dean again! =)

Yeah, so not cool D: haha

Pushing Dean away would make sense, but then Sammy would be contradicting himself by saying it's better with him around.
