News: Dylan Bruno is on Twitter (for REAL this time)

Hello every one!

Just a note to say, yes, the rumors are FINALLY true. Dylan Bruno has joined Twitter and this time it's not a joke. Both Dylan's wife and our dearest @AlimiBallard have confirmed the news.

haha. I finally signed up for one yesterday. I swore I never would but if Dylan can do it, I guess I can too.

I'll probably end up making one for the website as well to tweet when the site is updated (as it will be this weekend.)

Both Alimi & Chris (Dylan's brother) had to call Dylan to believe! The funniest part is their tweets about it! Both lovely guys!
I'm just wondering if Dylan is gonna tweet really or just leave the account there... Or maybe tweet once in a while like Rob. Of course we wanted him to be like Alimi or Krummy, who tweet all the time, but I guess it's not gonna happen!
Anyway, a twitter account just to follow this guys worth it!

Dylan has tweeted several times already... he'll probably grow bored with it, or you know, be busy having a life with his beautiful wife and his two beautiful sons. LOL. But it's good to know we can at least read something from him and maybe it won't be so hard on us to find out what he's up to these days. That's the hardest part about running the website - having to DIG for information because it's just not there.

I signed up for twitter yesterday and will likely make one for the website too. Lord, what has this man got me into?

I hope you're doing well, sweets. I'm glad you got the person to admit he wasn't the real Dylan, even though we already knew that. People keep trying to fool Dylan's fans and they should know better by now. LOL.

I may, I haven't decided yet. I have to figure out how to use Twitter for my own account before I consider making one for the site! hahaha. Yes, that's right. I'm so socially network inept I am going to have to have my best friend give me a tutoring session this weekend on how to use Twitter. I can't even find my feed for the people I'm following. HAHAHA.

This is why I was only on LJ for YEARS; I'd get rid of Facebook if it weren't the only place my family posts pictures of my niece and nephew for me to see while I'm so far from them; Tumblr took me a solid month to figure out. I'm a mess. You'd think a PhD chemist would know stuff but uh. I leave that to the professionals. Now if you want to know how to analyze breast cancer cells for iron oxide concentration/nanoparticles used in MRI studies, I'm your girl. LOL. Twitter? Not so much.

I will let you know far in advance if I decide to get a Twitter for the site. *hugs

So, regarding the "official" website, I'm still investigating that. This website claims it will have posts by Dylan and to be an official website you are supposed to be affiliated with Dylan and/or his management team. Given the content of the site, I do not believe this is ACTUALLY an official website. I think this is a fan site and another attempt to pull one over on us. Why? I have no idea.

I will let every one know when I found out for certain. :)

I said the same thing as you! if it is an official website or a fan site!
I think for an official website is not very detailed in his biography (not his private life)
it is the same biography found everywhere!
I wanted to share the information so that everyone gives his opinion!

I appreciate the sharing. I mentioned it in an earlier post here at savecolby and here was my reasoning then for not thinking it was an official site.

I would expect an official site, associated with Dylan, to have more class than to steal files that I made. If it were really Dylan, I'd think he'd have access to his own sound bites and they wouldn't have to use the crappy audio file from Rides that I made 5 years ago with limited technology.

I've also received 2 emails from the "admin" of that site and the emails have me convinced it is NOT an official website to be linked with Dylan.

But again, every one can decide for themselves. LOL.
