dumb question, did Dylan die in NCIS or is there a chance he could come back, my daughter had her band concert that night, and we had a tornado so all the stations had that going on. I miss numb3rs, we watched dvd's all weekend. Is there any chance another network would pick it up??

...Dead.

Dylan, however, is very much alive and did a fantastic job as Lt. Dean. Not enough screen time, in my humble opinion, with Mister Mark Harmon but ... it'll do. Go check out the screencaps Candi put up at the Dylan Bruno Online website, you're in for a tasty treat.

Candi, dear, however ... you missed a very tasty morsel of a screencap in the one scene Dylan, as Lt. Dean, had with David Macallum! How could you not cap that? Poor Dylan ... I don't care how well you try to warm those tables up, metal slabs are cold.

Thanks for answering colbys comment. I've been a little lax in getting back to people.

As for the screencap I missed, well... if you look at any of the movies or shows where Dylan's character was killed, you will not find any of the death scenes in the screencaps. I do not cap these scenes. I don't know. I just feel like... it's not right. Maybe I'm a weirdo, but I just can't do it.

SPOILERS ahead for NCIS 7.24 (for anyone else reading these comments!)

Quite honestly, I'm in denial about that anyway... because, a highly decorated soldier turned skilled mercenary getting gunned down by Tony of all people because he didn't have enough sense to not break cover? Give me a break. Writer!fail on that one. *shakes head* Now I remember why I don't watch NCIS. LOL.

Okay, I can conceed your point, Candi. But I had a very strange scenario run through my head regarding that scene... and it would be a "fix, of a sorts" to the rather big FAIL the writers of NCIS created....

Unbeknownst to DiNozzo, Dean set off several "squibs" that corresponded with gun fire heading his way and immediately clamped down on a hidden capsule in his mouth that dealt him a drug that mimiced death. Just before Gibbs comes into the morgue, Ducky has adminstered the 'cure' to Lt. Dean and the young deep-cover NCIS Agent, Lt Dean Jaynes, is sitting up on the slab looking at a bullet hole in his arm. "Damn... I should hurt DiNozzo for that one."

.................................................scene to be continued by whomever wants to roll with it.

And I found you here, so I can say that I saw both episodes, 7x23 and 7x24 and I don't care about the any of the NCIS guys and I'm pissed that Lt. Dean is dead, even he was a bad guy.

Yeah...I was exactly thrilled with these NCIS episodes but I will say they sparked me into going back and watching the show from the beginning. It's a lot better when you start from the beginning and work your way there. I miss Colby too. I miss Dylan playing a good guy. I'm hoping that his new movie when it comes out will be a good one where he's not a bad guy or ... you know... killed. LOL.

I'm sure I cannot go there now. They killed HIM. No way I can like them! LOL
Maybe, but only maybe, I can reevaluate, IF they behave well with Alimi! ;)
I know, I'm beyond help! Kisses dear!
