Conservatism isn't treason. The philosophy has some merits...It's the self serving assholes that use it as a blanket title for their own ends and to justify their villianous deeds that are the traitors. Unfortunately that seems to cover, to the last man, the entire recent Bush administration, a culmination of the downward spiral of criminality that started with the Nixon (win at all costs) Administration and their wedding themselves to the dark side, Lee Atwater. Unfortunately some good people, the conservative voters, have bought into the lie that liberals are evil and they must be fought at all costs. While liberals are sometimes pone to the same disease, it is because of the nature of conservativism that makes it more prone to such cynical manipulation.
