brown/blue herringbone handbag
hi everyone!
i guess i am one of the few in this community who has actually met dave... i attended his kickin' last saturday party last year after halloween and was able to personally thank him for offering up his land to all these partygoers for drinking/camping/bonefireing/musicing/etc. he was very nice and generally just seemed happy to be able to provide a good time for people. it is gorgeous out there and i want him to be able to keep it and love it for a long time! so i am offering a small contribution to the pile.
up for auction is handmade purse, made by yours truly. my line is lladybird; i generally make clothing but occasionally will dabble in purses and wallets and little things like that. the purse is made with a brown herringbone fabric - this stuff is high-quality, purchased from textile fabrics last year for a whopping $19.99 a yard (yes, i've been hoarding it). the brown is laced with tiny dots of blue, red, yellow and green - very pretty. there are tiny pleats across both the front and back. i lined the inside of the purse with a deep, vibrant blue satin-esque fabric. there is a small pocket, the perfect size for holding your id or a small tube of lipstick. the purse closes with a magnetic snap.
