I won't lie...I was fighting back a few tears during Obama's speech tonight. So much of what has needed to be said was and so much of what has been said so well so far was restated with even greater purpose. It was Obama's best speech and I think we'll remember this speech as a turning point for the Democrats. I don't know what the polls will

If Obama gets assassinated, I am going to be so fucking pissed.
McCain, in all honesty, should not win this election. He's got no charisma and his ideas are less than revolutionary. But if Obama looses because of the color of his fucking skin....

That was one of the arguments for putting Hillary on the ticket. It would be a great assassination deterrent. Assassinate Obama...hello President Hillary Clinton! No gun-toting whack-job assassin would risk THAT.

It's the same reason I don't argue more for the impeachment of Bush...we'd get President Cheney.
