No, it's not that my sister Lyonesse is stuck in her own castle by a stalker who doesn't understand that no means no and the only help I've managed to find is a kitchenhand named Gareth. (Hey, at some point my username reference needed to be pointed out!)

( TL;DR Conclusion: I have enough reasons to avoid Mark Millar's work. It's not that he can't write for shit, because he can, it's just that it really rubs me up the wrong way like crazy. )

Yeah this post just kind of ran(t) away from me. Bitching about the Ultimates is kind of fun. It's not like the comics world is awful right now, there's actually quite a lot to be happy about! (Batwoman! Power Girl! BoP coming back! A new writer for Wonder Woman!* Adventure Comics! Barry is back! So is Steve!) But guess I couldn't keep it in for much longer ( ... )
