Why didn't the FDA tell us that "Earthbound Farms" and its subsidiaries were the e.coli company? Why do I have to fucking find this out from snopes.com?

The government pisses me off to no end sometimes. They want to rule us and manipulate us, but when it comes to disseminating information instead of randomly dispersing fear, they're useless.

I bought some spinach before the outbreak was announced, planning a nice wilted spinach salad, and had to throw it away. Waah. I feel bad for the people who didn't find out in time!
