i have read a fic in which Amita takes a job out east and at one point rights an article which trashes the Eppes Convergence and Don tells Charlie to go  home and not come back to the FBI until he fixes it because that is their legacy if someone could help me find it again i would appreciate it.

I think you mean Lady Gray`s fic called "A Woman Waits For Me". The article was first mentioned in chapter 14 ( ladygray99.livejournal.com/55234.html). Charlie`s response to it was explained in chapter 25 (ladygray99.livejournal.com/59264.html), where a journalist from a scientific journal has written a piece about him.
