i honestly don't think my mother and i will ever understand each other... and it's unfortunate because i like to think i'm a pretty cool person :-P

it's just difficult when i'm trying to talk to her... we grew up in a different time. and unfortunately i think it's just too much to get over sometimes

she's still holding a grudge because i didn't say thank you to her in front of all the people at the reception. would you believe it slipped my mind? i was so unbelievably emotional after those speeches... i couldn't even form sentences let alone proper thanks. *sigh*

I miss you too my dear, greatly. i was thinking about you today as i was sitting at starbucks... remembering visiting you in heidelberg. oh what fun! :-D *big hugs*
