I think the urge to kill you has subsided... for the most part. It may depend on how the rest of the story progresses I kind of like soulless Ivy so far, and I'm interested to see how Ivy is going to get Rachel to join her.

Another "dramatic division of chapters" I see. :) With a car blowing up and a war starting, no less. So evil, and so interesting.

So Ivy still cares/loves Rachel? I guess Kisten showed us that undead vamps can love, but she's not feeling everything anymore, is she? I wonder how this is going to work out. Oh and that eye thing creeped me out. Had flashes of Japanese horror movies, those ones with ghosts that kill you just because?

This is a helluva plot! And it looks like you're just getting started, in a way. No death threats from me (hello, how will we get updates?), but I'm holding you to that happy ending! Excellent fic, pulse-pounding writing. Can't wait to read more!

I swear, I don't even do it consciously. The chapters just fell in place that way when I wrote the outline, looooong ago. The little tidbit from Ivy's POV though was spur of the moment though. I only planned to write two of those

So you outlined these chapters long ago...I'm sorry, what's the definition of conscious again? :) And hey no fair doing it in your comments too. I really hope that "later chapter" isn't 4 or 5 chapters down the road.

Putting Ivy's POV there was pretty inspired. More than Rachel's and Glenn's impressions, it gave a stronger sense of who Ivy was and wasn't anymore.

It's weird, but I'm looking forward to undead Ivy hunting Rachel for real and maybe scaring her (and creeping me out) a few times more. That's probably my frustration with Rachel showing, but she likes danger in her relationships, right? Can't get much more dangerous than a highborn undead vamp scheming to be the master of Cincy.

Forgot to ask before, will we see Ivy going after the undead vamp who attacked Skimmer and caused all of this trouble in the first place? Glad this story is just at the halfway point. Means there's much more to look forward to.

The next sexytime is not in the next chapter. The next chapter will probably be the angstiest yet. Ivy left a video will. 'Nuff said. It's going to be a hard one to write...

I'm glad you think the little bit from Ivy's POV was nice. If the only glimpse of her true personality had been the creepy eye moment, I was worried the rest might feel out of the blue. There's a hint in there that Ivy's not a normal undead.

I'm definitely looking forward to writting scenes between Rachel and undead!Ivy. Can't get much more dangerous than an undead who's on a quest for power and wants to have your babies indeed.

You won't see Ivy killing the undead that attacked Skimmer, but you might catch a mention of a horribly dismembered corpse in a news broadcast later on, if you're paying attention.

I don't know if I'm the only one who could get away with my "career ending" (not really) twist last chapter, but I know one person who better not pull off the same crap I did. Care to guess who? I'll give you a clue. Her name starts with Kim, and ends with Harrison. The s***storm would be epic if she did something like that...

Generally, Im in love with your writing :D I want more please and soon! Amazing drama and characterization. I mourn Ivy with Rachel. Dont know how you're going to turn this into Ravy (in my mind she's completely dead, all thats left is a mobile and dangerous corpse - as much as I love vamps lol) but I look forward to the evolution.

Note to self: fanaticreader likes creepy eye scenes better than bite, kiss, shower and nookie scenes. Please by writting a fic about Rachel staring into vampire eyes and getting creeped out. ;)

A mobile and dangerous corpse, eh? I think Rachel agrees with you for now. Too bad Ivy's got a mind to change that opinion at any cost... Rachel's gonna be torn, and she's gonna cry quite a bit before this ends, but it will have a happy ending. You're just gonna have to trust me there.
