i will definitely post this paper when i'm done with it! I did a ton of research after i posted this, and then the first book i opened was like, "well, yeah, there's a common scholarly assumption that women were more devoted to icons because they could worship in the home without a priest, but i think that's a load of misogynist crap and here's why." so i have a ton of stuff to write about and am trying to narrow down my topic a little!
