oh yeah, i certainly get that. but then why are the others making her bust up rocks?
why doesn't she fight more against this feminization? why did the writers let her crawl back in the cage because of sawyer? why is it a huge plot point that sawyer thinks she's hot? why isn't it a plot point that she hates being in a dress in a cage? why does the whole sawyer-pacemaker plotline center around him trying to protect her by not telling her anything, and his trying to look macho in front of her?
it seems to me that it's way beyond what the Others are doing to her -- the entire premise of this last episode was, "oh sweetie, don't worry about what the boys are doing, because you'll be safer that way. just crawl back in your cage and everything will be fine. oh, and don't let sawyer see you changing because his heart might explode."
She was never particularly strong or complex to begin with. Kate has always been the worst character on the show. But at least now her hooters look hot in that little dress.
I mean come on you have to admit her hooters look hot in that little dress.
