I joined a few days ago, and have been alternatively distressed and inspired by everyone's gorgeous homes! I've read back to July so far, I love seeing pics of what people have done

i don't know if this will help, but i store my 500+ CDs in the following:

i hand built a storage table with cd compartments and a see-through lid that lifts up that i store at least half of them in. the others i store in several top trays that i have under a banquet seating area in my living room. i'll see if i can post some pictures for you sometime later.

Or better yet, post wood segment dimensions as well so we can build them too! :)
