Grand Rapids, MI: Living Area and Kitchen

This is almost the end of my apartment! I have to post my bedroom, but there are still plans a-foot in there. But here are my living room and kitchen - these might be my two favorite rooms in the house. Living room is about 15' x 18' and kitchen is 7' x 10'.

I love every piece of furniture in your living room! I live in a city that apparently loves mid-century furniture because you can never find anything on Craigslist or in thrift stores and vintage shops are so overpriced.

For furniture, try ebay. You'd be surprised how cheap freight shipping can be if you are near a greyhound station. That Milo Baughman chair came to me from North Carolina to New York City and I think I only paid $50 for shipping. It took two and a half weeks to get to me, but it was well worth it. You can also put in for a search for things that are within a certain mile radius from your zip code and pick up - that's how I got the cabinet.
