To Infinity, and beyond!

I have two boys, ages 3.5 and 6.5. We live in a small one storey house, so the boys share a room. To save floor space, we have them in a bunk bed. My oldest actually fell over the railing on the top bunk, so we had to make some improvements on safety. Here is what we did.

thanks! big hats off to my husband who came up with the design on how to get basically a box bed around our son's top bunk. :) and yes, my boys love it.

they love it, and so does pretty much everyone else that comes over. :) this summer we're going to tackle building a tree house. (we were going to last summer, but I fell and tore my ACL and had to have surgery, so my husband was minus a helper)
