We have those exact stools at my work (I work at a science museum), and they are the bane of my existence! Not only are they not very comfy, like you mention, but they take up more space than they need to, kids are constantly tripping over them because the bottom is wider than the top, and they crack super easily. Gah! I hate them with a passion!

Yeah, we got it to use as a side table. It was never meant to be used for seating long-term.

It's River Inlet by Valspar. Or least it was. They went and renamed all their colors, which was really inconvenient when I went looking for it after we moved. I think it's called Tropical Bay now.
