I finally finished turning our living room into a playroom. It was seldom used by us until we made these changes. The room is open to our formal dining room so I wanted the room to flow with the rest of the house yet be kid friendly.

Thank you. That was what we were going for. I like the ceiling but must admit it was hard decided how to paint it.

i love it so much! i really like how you put the alphabet on the wall (i especially love the H) and those chairs look so big and comfortable! it is comfortable but classy.

I loved the idea too! Found it actually on ohdeedoh.com and had to change my plans for the wall once I saw it. It was fun to come up with interesting ways to display the letters.

I made many of them. I picked up unfinished wood or paper letters and then painted them or added paper from the craft store. All the letters were worked on except the L, B, F, O, and P. (B and F were from Urban Outfitters. L and P were from Ebay. O is a mirror from Ikea.) I took a long time but was really fun to shop for!
