Not sure when these dated, but I loved these lights that came with my 1858 converted mansion attic apartment. Sadly, I don't live there anymore.

I ripped a lampshade off an old lamp and re-covered it with a fabric I thought was fitting for a nursery. Then I found another lamp base that I liked and painted it. The two lamps combined turned in to this:
