My apologies for the sideways camera phone pic but my kids broke my camera and Santa hasn't brought me a new one yet, sob. But I couldn't NOT show you a picture of faaaabulous Jerome, my newest holiday ornament! You can click the pic to see the original, where you can (heh heh) rotate him.

Bah! We're decorating tomorrow! Maybe I'll post again tomorrow or Sunday when we have the tree up.

We just moved in, but I was excited about the holidays so we have a few things out...

Our not-fancy everyday centerpiece in the kitchen. A glitter deer we got on mega clearance after christmas last year, some stars I got at a little shop in Michigan and ikea votive holders (yes I lit them JUST for you guys) on my Grannie's linen table runner she brought over "from the old country".

Beautiful! We have some larger versions of the stars and want to get the small ones. Saw some at Potter Barn but they weren't in the best of shape. Michaels has them but they're in that multi-colored glitter.

Maybe we'll head downtown tomorrow...

I had 3 yesterday... I'm hoping the dog didn't get his paws on one. I need to find more. They are the EASIEST way to make a table or corner feel festive.

surprisingly the tree (~12') fit mostly inside the car with just the tip hanging out through the tailgate.
