I love the shower. That's so cool! And that pink could ONLY work in such a bathroom or the room of a young girl. I love it!

We looked at other colors but this was the one that brought the mosaic to life. It also makes for a bit of a glow in the mirror firs tthing in the morning, which is always nice.

The shower is amazing! Did you do it yourself or hire someone?

This was the work of our neighbor, who is an artist and retired art teacher. Her wood sculptures have a natural sensuality that I think she managed to capture in this rather tricky space.

By the way, she had complete freedom. Our design came after her work was done.

Agreed. Don't get me wrong, it's nice now,
but I kind of liked the shelves. I would
have used it for matchy-poo towels &
decorative pieces.

We tried that when we first moved in since I, too, love shelfscapes
: ) Unfortunately, the shelves made the bathroom even tinier and were a little too close to the toilet for comfort or hygiene (eww!). We then planned to just remove the shelves by the toilet and the vanity but EVERYTHING was affixed with liquid nails (including the mauve-grey-beige laminate countertop and the tile floor). We even had to replace large pieces of wall to repair the damage done by the adhesive.
